God has been working in my life for as long as I can remember…
God has been working in my life as far back as I can remember.
I remember the day a dear friend invited me to her church. In August 1999, I realized the depth of Jesus’ death and sacrifice on the cross for my sin at that little church.
In 2006, I was baptized by immersion as an adult.
I always believed in Jesus Christ as my Savior since childhood, but He wasn’t my best friend – I didn’t have a relationship with the Lord. I am happy to say I thoroughly enjoy my relationship with the Lord today!
I wanted to know more about the Lord. Now a single mom, I went back to college in the fall of 2006, and in December of 2011, earned an AA degree in Divinity, graduating with honors at the age of 45.
The Lord changed my life, and I choose to live for him each day. I tell him everything – the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Lord can handle it all.
God’s Word, the Bible, is his love letter to us. The Bible tells me what happened, what’s happening in the present, and what will happen in the future.
The Lord is with me, and I am not alone. No matter what this world throws my way, I believe the Lord already knows and will handle it accordingly.
Love, believe, and trust in the Lord.
Life is exciting now
My Faith Statement
I believe God created the heavens and the earth according to the book of Genesis.
I believe God sent his Son, Jesus Christ to the earth 2000 plus years ago as a baby, who was born of a virgin. At the age of 33, Jesus died on the cross for my sin. He was buried in a tomb. Three days later, he rose again and showed himself to Mary Magdalene, the disciples, and many others. After 40 days, he ascended into Heaven, where he sits at the right hand of the Father today.
I believe Jesus Christ will come back again and judge the righteous and the unrighteous one day.
I believe in the Trinity – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – three in one.
I believe the Bible is the first and final authority. All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training.
Before rededicating my life to Jesus, I was lonely.
Before rededicating my life to Jesus, I didn’t do anything even remotely exciting. Life was boring, and the truth is, I was super lonely. But praise God, my lonely days are gone! My cup overflows!
Living for the Lord is where I find joy and happiness. And those two things, my friend, are more valuable than precious silver, more weighty than gold.
Life is exciting.
The Lord is my best friend, and I can tell Him anything.
My bookshelves are crammed with various Bible translations, Bible commentaries, Bible dictionaries, biblical maps, and journals full of sermon notes from different well-known pastors.
I had the privilege of being a Children’s Ministry Director, Youth Leader, and Women’s Ministry Director for many years at my previous church. I sat on various leadership teams and learned the inner workings of church life. Each area of ministry helped me grow closer to the Lord.
I have taught various Bible studies to women over the years. Teaching is my passion, and I love to record my sessions, and I post many of them on YouTube! Check out my Youtube channel. I have over 100 videos.
I am constantly writing blogs about all the Lord has done and what I have learned. I also self-published three books available at various locations, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Everything I write and teach is designed to point others to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. It’s not about me. It’s my passion in life.
I’ve been nicknamed the t-shirt teacher because I love to wear t-shirts. I don’t dress fancy, wear a lot of jewelry, or even wear lipstick most days. I’m just a good old girl who likes my jeans and loves the Lord.
A Bit More About Me.
I love to share what I have learned with others, hence the reason for this website. Everything I write or teach is designed to point people solely to Jesus and what he did on the cross for humanity. Our only hope in this fallen and broken world is Jesus. Amen!
About the T'Shirt
I’ve been nick-named the t-shirt teacher because I love to wear t-shirts when I teach. I hope that is acceptable to you.
My favorite verse is John 15:5. I was so excited when I got to Student Life camp and saw my favorite verse outside the worship center.
