Merry Christmas! Please enjoy this wonderful rendition of “A Baby Changes Everything.”
2020 has been an unprecedented year for sure, but let us never forget the real meaning of Christmas. God sent his one and only Son into the world as a baby, not to condemn the world, but to save it. Today, on Christmas Day, we celebrate Jesus’ birth.
Today as we celebrate the packages and bows, torn paper everywhere, gifts of all sorts, big and small, time together, and food to eat, let’s remember the real reason for the season – the baby born in a manger, Jesus Christ.
Let’s also be mindful that not everyone is having a merry Christmas today, whether it be losing a loved one, job loss, health issues, anxiety, and whatever else. Share a kind word, a hug, or even a note and encouragement with those around you who are hurting today. Pray for them. Let them know they can have hope – in a baby who changed everything, Jesus Christ.
Let’s pray.
Father, thank you for the wonderful gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, two thousand plus years ago in a little town called Bethlehem. Oh, what a sight that must have been for the shepherd and wise men. Lord, the gift you so freely gave came into the world to save a wretched sinner like me. Thank you, Father, for the gift of life, eternal life, because I believed Jesus came, suffered, died, and was buried. I believe Lord he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures. Merry Christmas to me and those I love who also celebrate this wonderful gift. Praise the Lord! In his mighty name, I pray, amen.
From our family to yours – Merry Christmas!
Blessings!
