Bodies of Water – Part 1 – 30 Days to Understanding the Bible – Geography and Structure are the basis of this session.
Our topic for today? Water and lots of it, specifically bodies of water. Have you ever looked at a world map and studied the bodies of water? What about the Bible? Have you read the Bible and wondered if those same bodies of water exist today? Can those same locations and blobs on the page be found today? The answer is yes. They may be known by a different name, but they do exist, even thousands of years later.
The central geography and bodies of water we will look at in this video are as follows:
- Mediterranean Sea
- Sea of Galilee
- Jordan River
- The Dead Sea
- Provinces
- Cities
- The Geography of Acts
We will talk about cities, like Rome and Greece. Sound familiar to anyone? Yes, those cities existed back in BIble times and were some of the famous places the Apostle Paul journeyed to as he took the gospel to the Gentiles.
