Many of these folks are risking their own lives to help keep the economy going. They are helping sick people. They are making sure we have what we need. They risk taking the disease home to their family and friends.
We are blessed beyond measure in this country, and while there is a lot of negativity to fill the ocean at times, we must remember the positive things. Let’s continue to work together, help our neighbors, and say thank you!
And lastly, I would like to thank Almighty God for all of the above because without Him; we wouldn’t be here.
Times look tough right now, but if we removed all of the professions/people above, things would be a lot worse for all of us.
Remember to be patient. We have several people living in fear of this virus, especially those who are medically compromised.
So let’s be thankful today and every day.
“Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” Psalm 95:2
And after this crisis has passed, can we keep working together, loving each other, and helping each other?
Do we have to go back to all the negativity and hatred that has infiltrated this country so badly in the past ten years?
I am reminded of the two most important commandments in the Bible:
- Love God
- Love People
We are to love God first and foremost and then our neighbors as ourselves.
The one thing you can do that this virus cannot stop you from doing is praying.
Pray for your family, loved ones, neighbors, leadership, and all those listed above.
Spend some time in prayer and ask God to show you areas in your life that need attention. He is faithful.
“Today, if only you hear his voice, Do not harden your hearts…” Psalm 95:7-8
