What Became Of The Twelve Disciples

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Ever wonder what happened to the Twelve Disciples?

-John died of extreme old age in Ephesus.
-Judas Iscariot, after betraying Jesus hanged himself.
-Peter was crucified, head downward, during the persecution of Nero.
-Andrew died on a cross at Patrae, in Achaia, a Grecian colony.
-James, the younger brother of Jesus was beaten to death with a club
-Bartholomew was flayed alive in Albanapolis, Armenia.
-James, the elder son of Zebedee was beheaded in Jerusalem.
-Thomas, the doubter was run through the body with a lance.
-Philip was hanged against a pillar in Heropolis.
-Thaddeus was shot to death with arrows.
-Simon died on a cross in Persia (now Iran).
