Jesus Christ is the Right Power Source

Jesus Christ is the Right Power Source

A toaster requires electricity for me to toast my bread. That means I must plug my toaster into the wall. If I don’t plug in my toaster, no toast.

Without electricity, my bread is simply that – bread. My toaster needs power.

Electricity requires we pay the power bill. If we don’t pay the power bill, then we go without electricity. And if I don’t have electricity, my toaster even though plugged in will not toast my bread.

It’s the same thing with Jesus Christ. We must plug into His power.

Jesus Christ is the power source. Without Him, we can do very little.

Jesus says in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Fruit. Bread. Toast. All this talk about food is making me hungry.

When we don’t plug into Jesus’ power, there’s a disconnect.

I remember the vast hole I felt in my heart when I wasn’t following Jesus. Life was stressful and chaotic, not much peace. Things always seemed to go wrong, and troubles felt so big.

Since plugging into Jesus, the power source, I feel alive. I feel more at peace than I ever have before, and the challenges that arise are not overwhelming.

Plug into Jesus’ life-saving power and be changed forever.

The cool thing – it is free, and you will never get burned. It will always be just right.
