Our verse of the day comes from the book of Psalm. In this psalm, David is asking the Lord for guidance.
Let’s look at Psalm 25:4-5 and see if we can relate in any way.
“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
David is asking the Lord to show him his ways and his paths. He wants the Lord to teach him his truths. Is David teachable? It sure sounds like it to me.
What is the basis for these requests? Relationship.
David’s relationship with the Lord was important to him. So much so that he wanted to know more about the Lord.
What’s your relationship like with the Lord?
Are you teachable?
Do you ask the Lord to teach you his ways and to help you live by his truths?
Our life can be so much more fulfilling when we live in the right relationship with the Lord.
Ask the Lord to show you His ways and to teach you his truths as David did.
