Remember These Simple Truths During Difficult Days

Remember these simple truths

I spend many a waking moment considering how I can share some simple truths about who God is and His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Here’s what I believe to be true

After much research and reading, I believe by faith the following is true:

-God does exist.
-God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it.
-God created man and woman.
-God sent his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for you and me as an atoning sacrifice for our sin.
-God loves us very much.
-We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God.
-We can receive Christ as our personal Lord and Savior and have a relationship with Him.
-God gives us the Holy Spirit to live and dwell in us to help us live the Christian life when we accept Jesus into our heart.
-God loves you, chose you, and adopts you into His family.
-God is in control and always has been.
-We have the privilege of prayer.
-We have the treasure of Gods word.
-We can trust God.
-We have a great friend. His name is Jesus.
-We are not alone.
-Satan is real and very active.
-Material things will pass away.
-God works in his timing, not ours.
-One day, you and I will experience death.
-On that day, what will you say as you stand before the throne?

Great reminders or revelations

With everything going on in our world today, let this list of simple truths be a reminder to you of the mighty God we have in our corner. Let this list be a reminder of the mighty God who created us. Allow this list of simple truths to be a reassurance to you that you are not alone on this earth, nor do you have to be alone. We are designed to live in fellowship with God, our creator.

It’s easy to get down with everything going on today, whether it be in your own life or the lives of others. But remembering these simple truths about God will help encourage us to stay strong, stay faithful, rest assured someone else is in control. We don’t have to have all the answers. By faith, we can trust and believe there is someone greater who is in control.

Let’s pray

Father, thank you for the simple truths of who you are and who we are in Jesus. Thank you that I don’t have to worry about everything. I can rest in the simple truth that you are God, and you are in control. Your Word tells us who wins this battle in the end. I’m thankful I’m on your team. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Are you on His team today? If you’re not sure, seek the Lord in prayer.
